If you do not make your investment elections during the enrollment process and assets are allocated to your Plan account, the assets will be invested in the Plan's default investment as designated by your Plan's Investment Advisor or Plan Sponsor. The default investment will not take into consideration your personal preferences or your tolerance/aversion to investment risk. Default investment allocations are often, but not always, simply based on your age and/or years until retirement. You may log in to your account at any time in the future to change the allocation of existing assets in your account (by way of an investment transfer or rebalancing transaction) and change your investment elections for future contributions yet to enter your account. These two functions are controlled separately and can be accessed from the Manage >> Manage Investment menu of your Participant Portal.
